Steven Gerrard's Rangers side will progress to the Europa League second qualifying round after a goalless away draw with Shkupi.

Ranger held a 2-0 advantage from the first leg, and weren't too troubled by the hosts.

They will now go on to face either Petrocub or Osijek in the next round.

Rangers were in control for the whole game, but were unable to get a goal.

They were nearly put in trouble in the 88th minute however.

Muarem left Connor Goldson for dead, but ws unable to score thanks to a skillful one-on-one save made by McGregor.

Gerrard will be looking for a more convincing performance from his side, looking particularly at his strikers in this case.
