According to 'Sportal.it', Inter and AC Milan are tracking the movements of Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic with regard to a possible transfer next season.

The two teams from Milan would love to have currently one of the best midfielders in world football in their ranks, and he also happens to be team-mates with Lionel Messi.

According to the aforementioned source, Inter and AC Milan are targeting Rakitic to try and strengthen the core of their teams for next season but any move is unlikely to be straightforward.

The Croatian midfielder renewed his Barcelona contract in March until 2021 and his release clause is very high, at around €125m.

However, the two Serie A sides would be willing to push the boat out in order to have a top level-player in their squad.
