Ivan Rakitic has joined an illustrious list of players on Tuesday night, racking up 100 caps for his country.

The Barcelona midfielder was named in Zlatko Dalic's lineup for the clash against Spain in Elche, alongside Ballon d'Or favourite Luka Modric.

Croatia are playing in their opening game of the new UEFA Nations League, their first competitive game since the World Cup final loss to France.

They will be pitted against a strong Spain side who have just beaten England at Wembley, and will be backed by a home crowd eager to see new manager Luis Enrique in action.

Enrique opted to start Jose Luis Gaya at left-back, and has given Marco Asensio and Dani Ceballos a start as well.

Here are the full lineups:

Spain - De Gea, Carvajal, Nacho, Ramos, Gaya, Busquets, Saul, Isco, Ceballos, Asensio, Rodrigo

Croatia - Kalinic, Vida, Mitrovic, Pivaric, Vrsaljko, Brozovic, Rakitic, Modric, Perisic, Kovacic, Santini
