A first-half header from towering centre-back Sean Raggett was enough for Rotherham to seal a narrow victory over Millwall at a wet and blustery New York Stadium on Sunday.

The game was a typical Championship affair for the most part, with neither side short of commitment, thoughb genuine quality did continue to be in short supply.

Raggett, on loan from Norwich City, eventually decided the game on the 20-minute mark as he headed home a Will Vaulks cross.

The 'Millers' were the better side in the first 45, but spurned several chances to extend their lead.

Millwall piled on the pressure in the second half, though goalkeeper Marek Rodek proved equal to the efforts of Jake Cooper and Tom Elliott, whilst debutant Tom Bradshaw was unable to inspire a comeback after coming off the bench.

Nevertheless, Paul Warne's side managed to hang on for their second win of the Championship season to leapfrog Millwall in the table and move up to 15th.
