Barcelona scored two goals in two minutes during the scond half of their Champions League tie against PSV to ensure all three points would remain in Catalonia.

Lionel Messi and Ousmane Dembele scored with two sublime efforts that took the game away from their Dutch opponents and ensured they got the group off to the best possible start.

The first came after Demebele picked the ball up around 35 yards from goal. He jinked past a couple of defenders before curling an effort into the far post and leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.

Less than two minutes later, Messi had his second of the night and Barcelona were more or less home and dry.

Ivan Rakitic chipped a ball over the defence and Messi was on hand to provide a lovely finish. He hit the ball first time, on the volley, stroking it into the far corner.

It was a double salvo that shocked the Dutch side, and there was little they could do with only ten minutes remaining to save the game.
