Christian Pulisic says he will hold talks over his future with Borussia Dortmund in January as he continues to be linked with a move away from the club.

The 20-year-old winger is considered one of the top young talents in world football, but a combination of niggling injuries and the fine form of his club team-mates means he has started just four of Dortmund's 11 Bundesliga games so far this season.

The likes of Chelsea and Liverpool have both been linked with big-money swoops for the American, though the club are understood to be adamant he will be going nowhere until the end of the season.

Pulisic captained the United States as they fell to a narrow 1-0 defeat to Italy in Belgium on Tuesday and speaking after the game he said that the winter break would be the perfect time for him to discuss his future with Dortmund officials.

"I'm still focused on Dortmund. We are doing great this season," he insisted.

"Once the break comes [in January], that is always when I will have to discuss with Dortmund and see about my future."

Pulisic has made over 100 appearances for the German side since joining them in 2016 at the age of 16, scoring 15 goals in the process.

Dortmund currently top the Bundesliga, sitting four points clear of nearest rivals Borussia Monchengladbach.
