Luis de la Fuente announced his squad for the Spain under-21s who are set to face the Faroe Islands and Israel. The coach kept the majority of the squad the same but left out Riqui Puig after his lack of gametime at Barca. Pedri and Real's Óscar Rodríguez retained their places.

As well as the senior squad, Spain announced their under-21 team for Euros qualifying on Friday.

Luis de la Fuente kept the majority of his squad the same with the likes of Cucurella, Guillamón, Barrenetxea, Brahim, Óscar Rodríguez and Barca's Pedri all retaining their place in the sqaud.

The big news is the dropping of Riqui Puig. Ronald Koeman hasn't been using him and his lack of minutes has meant that he is left out of the latest 'La Rojita' squad.

The under-21s play in Marbella on the 12th and 17th November against the Faroe Islands and Israel, before concluding their Euros qualifying campaign.
