PSV fined for trouble at Emirates Stadium

In the matchday 2 game between Arsenal and PSV, some Dutch fans that went to London for the game threw flares at the home fans. As a result, the club was fined €40,000 and their fans will not be able to attend the following game.

UEFA fined PSV €40,000 and banned them from selling tickets for their next Europa League home game, because of the incidents that occured in the Europa League game played at The Emirates last Thursday.

The Dutch side were punished because the fans threw objects and had altercations with their fans in the London club's stadium, who they have to contact within 30 days to accept responsiblity for the damage caused.

Therefore, the Dutch fans will not be able to go to the last group game against FK Bodo Glimt and they will have to watch on TV.

The match ended in an 1-0 Arsenal victory over PSV, and the Netherlands-based team will have to pay for the repairs of the damaged caused in the stands and other zones of the stadium.
