PSG to renew Marquinhos contract
According to 'RMC Sport', PSG will soon make official Marquinhos' contract renewal, until June 2024. The Parisian club will gift the Brazilian regular first time football in Tuchel's defence.
With a contract until June 2022, Marquinhos has already reached an agreement with the French team to extend his contract by another two years and improve his salary.
Since his arrival from Roma in 2013, Marquinhos has been a fundamental part of the back line and, together with Thiago Silva, has formed part of one of Europe's best defences.
In fact, when his teammate in defence was injured this season, Marquinhos gained the PSG captaincy ahead of other key players.
This season he has played 24 games with Thomas Tuchel's Paris-Saint-Germain and hopes to continues being key for the team for the rest of the season.
His time in Paris will come to an end in 2024, after eleven years at the Parc des Princes, which is not bad going at all. He has already won five Ligue 1 titles with the team.
