PSG sporting director travels to London to convince Sanchez
His future shrouded with doubt, Alexis Sanchez is listening to all offers. The Chilean is reluctant to sign a new deal for Arsenal as PSG attempt to lure him to the French capital.
In fact, a deal between Arsenal and the Parisian side could be closer to completion than expected, as reported by 'Le Parisien'. Antero Henrique, PSG sporting director, has travelled to London to personally speak to Sanchez.
Henrique also met the Chilean's agent. The sporting director's main objective was to present the striker with the contract he would have in Paris.
PSG are prepared to offer him a three-year deal worth around 13 million euros a year, which would see Sanchez become the highest-paid footballer on Unai Emery's squad, along with Edinson Cavani.
There are still many differences to settle. Firstly, Alexis wants at least four years on his contract. Secondly, the French side would have to persuade Arsenal, but this would prove uncomplicated at first glance: if Sanchez does not renew his deal at the Emirates, the Gunners could risk him leaving on a free next year.
