PSG are facing a daunting task tonight as they are going up against Barcelona’s MSN attacking line (Messi, Suarez, Neymar) and, as if that was not hard enough already, their defence will have to make do without Brazilian star Thiago Silva.

The experienced defender has been left out of PSG’s squad for tonight’s Champions League Round of 16 first-leg clash due to injury, although the Parisian club has not clarified its exact nature.

Spanish daily El Mundo Deportivo reports that Silva is most likely out because of a muscle injury and he should be available for the return leg, in two weeks’ time.

Fellow Brazilian Maxwell is the most likely candidate to replace the PSG captain in the starting line-up in tonight's match.
