'L'Equipe' reports that PSG have offered Kylian Mbappe a new deal. This would see his annual salary increase by five million euros a year. He would go from earning 25 million to 30 million euros a year. The French board hope to persuade him, but, at the moment, they have not managed to do so.

PSG are keeping on fighting to try and keep Mbappe in Paris. Real Madrid are lying in wait ready to make him a big offer to bring him to La Liga and the French giants have made him a new offer, 'L'Equipe' says: an increase of five million euros a year.

Currently, the striker earns slightly more than 25 million euros a year. If he signs this new deal, he would end up earning 30 million euros. He would not still not get more than his teammate Neymar who already gets more than 30 million euros.

It has not been revealed how many years the board want to extend the youngster's contract by. His current deal runs until 2022 and a clause in the contract means his salary increases every year.

Real Madrid are interested in Mbappe and they are following this closely. Real Madrid refused to buy signings in the last transfer windows, maybe to reduce the effects of the pandemic or possibly to save up to make a big money move. Maybe to get Mbappe?
