PSG make Kanté primary target after repeated Gueye bids fail

Paris Saint Germain have identified Chelsea and France star, N'Golo Kanté as their primary target for the Summer transfer window.
The French side are looking to build a side that can dominate European football, and, having had several offers to Everton rejected for Idrissa Gueye, they have now identified Kanté as their absolute priority.
However, whilst PSG may be looking to improve their squad to compete in Europe, Chelsea are trying to hold onto their stars to remain competitive in the Premier League, as they are unable to sign anyone till next summer.
Eden Hazard seems destined to leave, whilst Callum Hudson-Odoi is still being courted heavily by the likes of Bayern Munich. Chelsea will not be willing to also let Kanté leave.
Kanté joined Leicester City from French side Caen, and was then a key part in helping them to win the shock Premier League in 2016, before moving to Chelsea for 32 million pounds the summer after, being part of another Premier League winning side, before winning the FA Cup and World Cup last season with Chelsea and France respectively.
However, with Maurizio Sarri repeatedly opting to play Jorginho in the holding role this season and the opportunity to return to France available, it is unknown whether Kanté would take the opportunity to change teams in the summer.
