French giants PSG are growing increasingly confident of sealing a double deal for two of the top players in world football.

PSG chairman Nasser al-Khelaifi believes that the club are currently leading the race to sign Arsenal's Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez.

Sanchez is believed to want out of the Emirates this summer and with just 12 months on his contract, it is believed that the 'Gunners' could be tempted by an offer in the region of £50m from overseas. That's despite Arsene Wenger's claims earlier in the week that the decisions was 'not to sell' Sanchez.

The 28-year-old was spotted at the Royal Monceau hotel in Paris on Friday, where he and his agent are believed to have met with PSG's sporting director Antero Henrique to discuss a potential move.

The Paris-based side are also believed to be working on a mega-money deal to bring Barcelona star Neymar to the Parc de Princes. The Catalan side cannot prevent the Brazilian from leaving if PSG meet the player's €222m release clause and the Parisians are believed to be working on a way of structuring the deal.

'The Guardian' reports that the 25-year-old could net a salary of £35.8m a year (including bonuses) if he makes the switch to the French capital.

Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu insists that any deal for Neymar is impossible due to the FFP implications, but it is understood that PSG are still confident of making the numbers add up on a deal.

Rumours on Friday claimed that Neymar has already told his closest friends at the Camp Nou of his desire to leave adding fuel to the fire that he could complete a sensation move to France.
