Prime Video publishes Courtois bloodcurdling screams of pain after cruciate rupture

'Amazon Prime Video' will broadcast a docuseries about goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and his recovery process after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee before the start of the season. In a first preview, it was possible to see the exact moment in which it happened, as well as the chilling screams of pain from the Belgian goalkeeper.

'Prime Video' announced on Wednesday that it will premiere the docuseries 'Courtois: The Return of the Number 1' in September, which chronicles the Belgian international goalkeeper's recovery from two knee injuries in four episodes.

Thibaut Courtois overcame a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee on 10th August and a torn right meniscus on 19th March.

In a first preview, posted by the player himself on his Instagram account, it was possible to see the exact moment when the injury occurred, as well as the chilling screams of pain from the Belgian goalkeeper. His own teammates spoke of how they felt at the time and expressed their deep concern.

The docuseries will be released on Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories as part of the Prime subscription and shows Courtois' work to play the decisive part of the season. It is produced by Wakai Media and consists of four episodes.
