Premier League season kicks off on Friday night
The Premier League season will begin on the evening of August 11th. Arsenal will face Leicester at the Emirates Stadium.
It is the very first time that a season opener is played on Friday night. Normally the campaign opener has been played on Saturday afternoon.
Sky Sports will broadcast the match, which will kick off at 7.45 pm. Half of the opening rounds have been moved. Waford will face Liverpool on Saturday lunchtime.
The first Super Sunday will be between Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspurs and Manchester United against West Ham.
On August 20 at 4 pm, Tottenham will face Chelsea at Wembley Stadium.
