Paul Pogba had another disappointing performance in a Manchester United shirt as his statistics for the season fall short compared to Philippe Coutinho's for Liverpool, who was sold in January.

The midfielder followed up his scintillating display against rivals Manchester City with a dismal outing against West Brom, where he was hauled off after 58 minutes by Jose Mourinho.

It's just another bump in a largely underwhelming season at Old Trafford for Pogba, especially if you compare his statistics to those of departed rival Coutinho.

Both were sidelined by injuries at one point of the campaign but the Frenchman has gone on to appear 22 times for the 'Red Devils' compared to Coutinho's 14 for Liverpool.

However, the Brazilian midfielder has still scored two more goals than Pogba (seven - five), created nine more key passes and six more overall chances for his team.

In fact, the only statistic that the United player beats Coutinho is in assists. Pogba has nine compared to the now-Barcelona man's six. Although argubaly this could've been higher if he had played the same number of games.

Considering Coutinho left in January, the figures sum up Pogba's disappointing return season in Manchester where he has been regularly dropped by his manager throughout.
