Whilst it was previously thought that Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino's contract had a special clause that would let him leave should Real Madrid come knocking, the 'BBC,' have debunked the rumours.

Before you could even say 'Zizou,' rumours began circulating about potential successors with names such as Arsene Wenger, Joachim Low and Guti thrown in the mix. One name, however, stood out as a the pole candidate to take the helm at the Bernabeu: Mauricio Pochettino.
Since joining Tottenham, the Argentine has cemented the club's place as a top-four side and is thought to be Madrid president Florentino Perez's favourite for the now vacant post.
It was initially thought that the former Espanyol manager had a clause in his contract that would enable him to join 'Los Blancos' for the Spanish heavyweights, but the 'BBC' debunked that myth with a story they broke on Friday: "Pochettino is not believed to have agreed anything in writing or verbally with Spurs about joining Real," writes Simon Stone.
Nevertheless, should Pochettino get the call from Florentino, it'll be very hard to not pick up the phone.
