Mauricio Pochettino thinks that Tottenham have all the tools to compete with Europe's elite but they need stability at home to succeed.

Pochettino says when construction is completed on the new stadium at White Hart Lane, Tottenham will have everything in place to compete with Europe's elite. 'Spurs' effort to prove themselves among Europe's top tier was hampered on Wednesday after they were defeated by Italian giants Juventus.

Head coach, Pochettino believes that his side feel unsettled in their temporary home at Wembley. The Argentine has said that the final piece of the puzzle will be completed once 'Spurs' have relocated back to their homeground to a new 62,000-seater stadium. The stadium is expected to be ready for use in the summer of this year.

''First of all to be in a place that you feel at home, in your new stadium, everything is stable," Spurs' manager responded when asked what is necessary to progress to the next level. He explained to fans that the club would see progression next season.

''For our fans, for everyone, the process will start next season, start to feel like a home in the new stadium. That's not an excuse, that is the reality and when we assess the team, we cannot put [leave] this out. We need to include this situation.''

Tottenham are next due to play Bournemouth on Sunday, and Pochettino is clear on the threat that the 'Cherries' pose: "They are capable to win against Chelsea and Arsenal, they try to play football, [with a] philosophy like a big club. They try to dominate, always against the big teams, they make very big performances.''
