Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino claims Spurs have a 'different philosophy' in the current transfer window and is not worried by the big spending of their Premier League rivals.

Tottenham are yet to sign anyone in the current transfer window. Kyle Walker's £54m transfer to Manchester City, Federico Fazio's move to Roma and Clinton N'Jie's switch to Marseille being are the only deals to come out of White Hart Lane so far this summer.

Although Pochettino remains calm, Spurs fans can have reason to worry with Premier League rivals Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United all signing strikers in deals worth more than £50m. If that wasn't enough, reports are suggesting that United are still interested in midfielder Eric Dier.

However, Pochettino told ESPN, 'Always the philosophy is coming from the board and in the case of Daniel Levy, I think we have a very good relationship, we have a clear idea of what we need to do in the future.'

'I think our facilities are amazing and the training ground and the new stadium will be one of the best in Europe. It's an exciting moment for Tottenham. But it is true we have a different philosophy, it's not because we cannot invest, but Tottenham have built a different philosophy than the other big clubs.'

'I think in football, money can help you build a better squad or bring in talented players but it's not only about money, you need to be creative, you need to be clever. It will be tough next season for us, but we believe in the way that we play and we work.'

Spurs will play their first International Champions Cup game against PSG in the US on Sunday.
