Liverpool fans mocked Miguel Britos online after the Watford defender was torn apart by Mo Salah in a 5-0 thrashing at Anfield. His Wikipedia page was changed to say that Mo Salah had 'ended' the defender at Anfield, sarcastically listing March 17, 2018 as the date of his death.

Mo Salah really got the better of Miguel Britos on Saturday. The Egyptian, who scored four times in a 5-0 win, turned the Uruguayan defender inside out with his pace.

Britos was left floored by Salah's pace and skill on multiple occasions, for example in the run up to the forward's first goal, which he scored in the fourth minute of the game. Salah ran rings around the defender, causing him to fall on his back, and he was left to watch as the Liverpool forward opened the scoring.

In the aftermath of the game, Liverpool fans mocked the Watford player, joking that Salah had killed the player at Anfield. His Wikipedia page was changed so that it read: "On Saint Patrick's Day in 2018, Mo Salah ended Britos at Anfield after the Egyptian ran down the wing."

His 'place of death' was listed as Anfield, and the 'date of death' was added as the 17th of March, the date of the game. Fans of Liverpool were perhaps out for revenge on the Watford player, after he scored a goal that Jurgen Klopp saw as offside when Watford drew 3-3 with Liverpool in the league back in August.
