The Barcelona defender has never held back in his suport of an independent Catalan state and has today taken to social media to announce his intention to vote in the upcoming referendum.
The Spanish international took to Twitter on Thursday to announce his intent to vote on Sunday as Catalonia looks to break away from Spain.
The tweet was posted in Catalan, leaving onlookers in no doubt whatsoever as to which way the former Manchester United man's vote will be going.
"Between now and Sunday we will demonstrate peacefully. We won't give them any excuse, it is what they want," Pique told his followers on Twitter.
"We will sing loud and proud, we will vote," he added.
