Afred Schreuder, Barca's assistant manager, spoke to 'Barça TV' during the preview of the 'Copa del Rey' final 2020/21 against Athletic Club, and he referred to the physical state of Gerard Pique.
It was the first piece of news regarding Ronald Koeman's starting line-up. After many weeks spent on the sidelines through injury, Gerard Pique will start in the 'Copa del Rey' 2020/21 final.
In the preview of the encounter, Alfred Schreuder, assistant manager of Barcelona, spoke about the physical state of the club's CB: "Pique is a natural leader, mentally very strong".
"He's worked very well all week, he is doing well and he is a player that is used to playing in finals", Schreuder added during his talk with 'Barça TV', who also acknowledged that many Barca players are "accustomed" to these types of matches.
"It could be like the match in the 'Supercopa', we have played a few games against them and we know how they play: they can kick it up the pitch, but in certain phases they can wait for us," Koeman's assistant added.
