Piqué, 11 consecutive seasons on the scoresheet in LaLiga
Gerard Piqué's second-half header against Girona at the weekend means the defender has now scored in 11 consecutive seasons of LaLiga football.
The centre-back rose highest to nod home an equaliser and secure a point at the Camp Nou on Sunday in a bad-tempered Catalan Derby.
The centre-back is a pillar of the club both on and off the pitch and has a surprisingly good record in attack despite his job being keeping the back door shut.
Over the course of his career, Piqué has scored 45 goals: 26 in LaLiga, 11 in the Champions League, seven in the Copa del Rey and one in the Spanish Super Cup.
Those figures make him something else to worry about for opposition sides, with his goalscoring insting leading to the LaLiga champions using him as an auxiliary number nine in times of need.
