Piotr Zielinski confirms Liverpool interest
The Poland international Piotr Zielinski has confirmed that Jurgen Klopp wants to sign him and that he is set to feature at Euro 2016.
Midfielder Piotr Zielinski has confirmed that Liverpool have made contact with his representatives.
Last month it was reported that Liverpool were set to hold talks over signing Zielinski, who is currently on loan at Empoli from Udinese.
On Monday the 21-year-old said, “There is a lot of truth in [talk of] the interest of [Liverpool manager] Jürgen Klopp in me. There was contact, I do not deny that.”
