Real Madrid are looking for a new goalkeeper to substitute Keylor Navas and Pepe Reina, among other names, meets the perfect characteristics to move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Costa Rican keeper Keylor Navas has changed an opinion which he has stuck with throughout the whole summer until he has seen that he could be on the bench all season.

The goalkeeper had and apparently has offers from England, Italy and France, so it would not be complicated for Real Madrid to find him a new club. The sporting area of the club are looking for options to occupy his place.

According to 'AS', one of those in the best position is Pepe Reina. The 36 year-old Spanish goalkeeper is exactly the type of player the Bernabeu faithful want. Real Madrid have the idea of bringing a goalkeeper who accepts being the number two, but who is capable of performing at a great level as well as having experience. Pepe Reina ticks all those boxes and he would also have the support of the dressing room.

The ex-Liverpool, Napoli, Villarreal and Barcelona man would not see moving to Real Madrid at his age as a bad option, knowing that at AC Milan he will struggle to be number one as Donnarumma is there.

Of course, Pepe Reina would get on brilliantly wth the squad given his character and the relationship he has with all the Spaniards. It is very important he will have the support of the captain Sergio Ramos. Mirante, Willy Caballero and Stekelenburg are other names being mentioned.
