'ESPN' reports that Facundo Pellistri, who was on loan at Alaves, has asked the Man Utd board to loan him out to a team in the Serie A or the Portuguese league. He considers that they are the most interesting markets for next season, although there are no advanced talks.

Facundo Pellistri forms part of the Man Utd team for the 2022-23 pre-season, but he has very little chance of earning himself a place in Erik ten Hag's long term plans. He knows that the thing which is most likely thing is to go out on loan and he has requested that, according to 'ESPN'. He wants it to be either in Serie A or in the Portuguese league.

Last season, he was on loan temporarily at Alaves, but he did not get much first team action. It is for that reason that, for his new adventure, he wants to move somewhere else. As an Alaves player, he made 23 appearances in the 2021-22 season and made six starts. He did not score or give an assist.

In the small period of time he has been at Man Utd, he has shone in a friendly against Liverpool in which his team thumped Jurgen Klopp's side. He scored one of the four goals although it is worth mentioning that the Liverpool side was far from first choice.

Pellistri has a contract until summer 2025, so Man Utd have more than enough room for manouvre to manage what to did with it. The ideal thing is to look for a place where he can get lots of minutes in order to become an important Premier League player in the future.
