West Ham playmaker Dimitri Payet is turning down offers of up to £500,000-per-week, as he would rather rejoin former club Marseille.

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic recently confirmed that Payet wanted to leave the club and was not prepared to play for the Hammers any more.

Payet allegedly wants to move back to the south of France for personal reasons, and is not interested in a lucrative move to the Chinese Super League.

According to 'Sky Sports', a number of Chinese clubs have offered the Frenchman £500,000-a-week, but Payet is only interested in a move to Marseille.

It is also thought that the France international would be prepared to take a pay cut in order to move back to his former employers.

Marseille are currently in talks with West Ham over a potential deal for the player, but the Hammers have so far rejected an offer of £20m for Payet, and are holding out for £30m.
