Patrick Kluivert's son signs deal with Nike... at the age of 9
Former Barcelona striker Patrick Kluivert's nine-year-old son, Shane, has signed a contract with sportswear giant Nike.
With a footballing legend of a father and an older brother who made his Ajax debut at the age of just 17, perhaps Shane Kluivert was always destined for footballing greatness.
His father Patrick Kluivert took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce that Shane had signed a contract with Nike, saying "My son so proud of you Shane Kluivert Just signed his first contract with Nike at 9 years", accompanied by a photo of the proud moment.
It seems crazy that children of Shane's age are being hunted down by Nike's 'talent identification department' and signed up to agreements such as these but with Patrick behind him we're sure he wont go too far wrong.
Kluivert Sr played for AC Milan and Barcelona during a 14-year career and scored 40 goals in 79 games for his country, no pressure Shane!
