Joshua Kimmich said after Bayern's 3-0 win over Leverkusen in the Champions League round of 16 first leg that he will make a decision on his future “before the international break” and that “other clubs” also play a role in his decision.

Bayern took a big step towards the Champions League quarter-finals after claiming a convincing 3-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the first leg of the round of 16 at the Allianz Arena.

However, it was not all joy for fans of Vincent Kompany's team, as Joshua Kimmich said after the match that he has not yet made a decision on his future and that “other clubs” also play a part in his decision.

"My plan was to make my decision before the international break. The club didn't want that, which is legitimate. There will be a decision soon. It will definitely be before the international break at the latest," he said.

"Other clubs also play a role in my decision on the future. I won’t mention which clubs, but there will be a decision soon," the midfielder added.

In recent days, Fabrizio Romano reported that the German club was waiting for Kimmich's green light on his renewal, but it seems that for now the Germany international has not made a final decision on his future.
