Barcelona haven't completely ruled out a move for Angel Gomes just yet. The promising youngster, who is also on the radar of Juventus, is currently on the books at Manchester United but his current contract expires in 2018.
At just 14 years of age, Angel Gomes made his debut for the Manchester United U18s and at 17 he wore the captain's armband for the England U17 team. The pacey forward, who made his United first-team debut at the end of last season, is a player with huge potential and Barcelona are keen to bring him into their ranks as soon as possible.
As it happens, Angel Gomes' contract at United is set to expire in June 2018, which means that Barca can start negotiating the player's exit from Old Trafford if he doesn't agree a new deal before January.
It was in October 2016 that Barcelona considered bringing Gomes to the Camp Nou after the youngster displayed attributes which they thought fit in with their football ideals. Now, according to 'The Sun' they have once again renewed their interest in the wonderkid, but it appears that Juventus have also stated an interest in the youngster.
