Yaya Toure has finally completed a deal to join Greek outfit Olympiakos.

The midfielder joins the club after he was released by Man City at the end of last season, after spending eight years in north west England in which he won the Premier League three times.

It was well known that the Ivorian international wanted to stay in England to play his football, and there was a possibility that he would be re-united with Manuel Pellegrini at West Ham, but an agreement couldn't be reached.

Rumours stirred alst week when his agent, Dimitry Seluk announced that he had passed a medical in London to join a new club.

However, it quickly became apparent that this did not mean that he would join a team in the English capital, but rather the Greek capital.

Toure previously played for the team in the 2005-06 season in which he made 20 league appearances and helped the side to win the domestic double.

He will now return 13 years later to ply his trade in the Olympiakos midfield, and will be able to play European football after they qualified for the group stages of the Europa League last week.
