Danilo dos Santos Oliveira, who was at Palmeiras last season, has signed a contract with Nottingham Forest until summer 2029. The Brazilian midfeidler made 141 appearances for the 11 time Brasileirao champions.
Danilo has left Palmeiras to sign for Nottingham Forest until 2029. The Brazilian midfielder is considered one of the best talents in Brazil and the Premier League is his new destination after more than 100 appearances with the Brazilian side.
"I'm happy to fulfil my dream of playing in the Premier League and playing for Nottingham Forest," the former Palmeiras man said.
At the same time, he said what his first impressions were since arriving in England. "I learnt a bit about the club's history and saw that they had won two European Cups. I also spoke to Gustavo Scarpa and he told me that Nottingham is a great city and that Forest have a quality squad with really good staff," he said.
As for the English club, sporting director Filippo Giraldi spoke about Danilo's arrival: "We're really happy to welcome Danilo to our club and to our city. He is a fantastic talent that will be a great asset for the present and the future of Nottingham Forest."
