OFFICIAL: Dujuan Richards completes Chelsea transfer
Dujuan Richards, who signed a pre-agreement deal with the Blues in November, has completed his move to Stamford Bridge officially, the London club announced on Friday.
"Dujuan Richards has officially completed his move to Chelsea from the Phoenix Academy," the London side announced on Friday on their official website.
The 18-year-old signed a pre-agreement with the Blues in the summer transfer window and even trained with the first team squad during pre-season in the United States.
"I’m so pleased to be here. My dream was always to sign a professional contract and to have the chance to do that here at Chelsea, it’s difficult to put into words the emotions. I just can’t wait to get started," he told his current club's press in an interview.
Nkunku's fresh absence places further pressure on Pochettino's limited attacking options, with Nicolas Jackson on Africa Cup of Nations duty for Senegal at present. As a result, the Jamaican striker is expected to strengthen Mauricio Pochettino's attack in the coming weeks.
