Leeds United and Manchester United have completed the transfer of Daniel James. The Welsh international has signed for the next five seasons until June 2026.

Leeds United have managed to finally complete the signing of one of the players he had been following for several years. After several comings and goings during this market, the young winger will join the West Yorkshire club.

There have not been official figures with regards to his transfer, but, as 'The Guardian' pointed out, it will be around 25 million pounds. Marcelo Bielsa had been very keen on this transfer for a long time and they've finally got hold of him.

James signs until 2026, which will keep him at his new club for the next five seasons. He has become the club's eighth signing and he will train with the club after the international break.

The Welsh international attacker has played a total of 24 matches for Man Utd and he also scored four goals. The striker has asked to wear the number 20 which will be his new shirt number.
