Odegaard to sign for Arsenal
Despite Martin Odegaard's favourite option being a return to Real Sociedad, 'Diario Vasco' affirm that he will finally go on loan to Arsenal. He will soon leave Real Madrid and travel to London.
The Martin Odegaard saga is about to reach its end. The Norwegian asked to leave Real Madrid and he will thus do so.
Arsenal, 'Diario Vasco' affirms, will be his next destination. The Gunners, according to the newspaper, have reportedly managed to secure the loan of the Madrid player. Dani Ceballos awaits him there who, at the time, also changed the Bernabéu for the Emirates Stadium.
Real Sociedad, therefore, miss out on the chance of having Odegaard back. They tried to repeat his loan but without luck. According to 'Diario Vasco', "there has been no option to address his return".
According to 'El Larguero', the stumbling block for Sociedad in their negotiations with Madrid was Los Blancos' refusal to include an option to buy.
Arsenal will therefore reportedly be his next team. However, neither Real Madrid nor the Gunners have said anything about it. His loan could be completed soon.
