The winger has suffered a knee ligament injury and looks set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Norwich City winger Matt Jarvis could be sidelined until around October because of a knee ligament injury.

Following the Canaries pre-season friendly win over Peterborough on Saturday, their manager Alex Neil revealed Jarvis was facing "two to three months out" after having surgery.

The 30-year-old arrived from West Ham back in December 2015 and went on to make 21 appearances, scoring two goals.
