Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique underlined the extreme importance of Spanish international Andres Iniesta, who could be sidelined through injury for up to two weeks and will certainly miss the Sunday La Liga clash with Eibar.
“There is nobody, not on our squad and not in world football that is a similar player to Andes [Iniesta],” Enrique said at the pre-game press conference.
“That is the problem.
“I have very good players, but nobody is like Andres [Iniesta]."
None the less, Barcelona will not modify their style of play in the absence of the crafty midfielder.
“Our game plan does not change in anything, regardless of which players [we have available] our objective is always the same,” the Barcelona coach said.
