Neymar to miss cup final after appeal is rejected
Neymar will not be able to play the French Cup final. The French Olympic Committee (CNOSF) have turned down PSG's appeal and he will have to serve a one game ban.
Mauricio Pochettino will not be able to play Neymar for the French Cup final on Wednesday night after the CNOSF turned down PSG's appeal, 'AS' reports.
The Parisian side went to the CNOSF to ask for the yellow card he saw in the semi-final against Montpellier to be rescinded. However, their wish has not been granted.
In just 10 minutes, the Brazilian got the yellow which saw him miss the final after an accumulation of yellow cards.
Kimpembe is also unavailable for the Monaco game because he is serving a three game ban after the red card he saw versus Rennes.
In the end, the Argentinian coach will be without one of his strikers, but he said that "finals are won not just on performance" and that "the most important thing is to win" with whoever is available.
