Neymar once again played a starring role in an enthralling game at the Parc des Princes on Sunday night which exploded into life after 70 minutes.

If the Brazilian star carries on in this fashion, it won't be long before his price tag seems like a bargain. The ex-Barcelona man was visibly emotional in the minute's silence for the Barcelona attack which preceded the game, but he did not let that detract from his performance. He had a hand in all six of his side's goals on Sunday night, scoring twice, and inspired his side to a memorable victory despite being one man down for a large part of the second half.

PSG started the brighter with Di Maria forcing Lafont into a save in the opening minutes of the game. It was one-way traffic as Toulouse were restricted to their own half.

Rabiot headed just over from a Verratti cross before Neymar clipped the top of the crossbar following nice link-up play down the right between Di Maria and Dani Alves.

However, it was the away side who threatened to ruin Neymar's home debut by making the breakthrough in the 18th minute. Kelvin Adou whipped a cross in from the right and Max Gradel rifled it into the centre of the goal.

PSG continued to dominate, with 68% possession but they weren't able to make the dominance count. Neymar hit the woodwork once again, heading onto the post from a cross in from the right.

The home side finally found the breakthrough after 31 minutes and there was only one man who was going to score it. The Brazilian linked up nicely with Adrien Rabiot with the Frenchman forcing Lafont into a save, but Neymar carried on his run and was the first one to react to stroke it into the net.

It wasn't long before the dominance led to another goal. The same two players involved in the first goal linked up once again. This time, Neymar teed up Rabiot who rifled a shot into the bottom right corner of the goal from outside the box.

Cavani had a curling effort ruled out for offside before the referee's whistle brought an end to an entertaining half.

PSG started the second half where they left off, dominating possession but failing to convert this into chances.

The first two thirds of the game were entertaining enough but the last 20 minutes took things to another level.

The rollercoaster ride was started by a harsh second yellow being given to Marco Verratti for a challenge on Christopher Jullien. The midfielder tried to pull out of the challenge in the opposition box but the referee brandished the second yellow, sending Verratti for an early bath.

The home side reacted well to going a man down, with Cavani forcing Lafont into a save before Neymar was brought down by Andy Delort in the box as he tried to create some space for himself. Cavani expertly dispatched the penalty in the 75th minute, rifling it into the bottom left corner.

Just as it looked like PSG had put the game to bed, Toulouse responded through Jullien, who nodded in from Corentin Jean's corner, making it 3-2 with 12 minutes to go. Game on.

PSG once again responded almost instantly, Di Maria set up second-half substitute Javier Pastore who curled the ball superbly past Lafont from 25 yards out.

Fans would be forgiven if they thought they had just seen the best, and maybe final, goal of the game. They were proved wrong one minute later when Neymar's telegraphed corner in from the left was met with a brilliant acrobatic effort from Kurzawa.

Not wanting to be outdone by those two outstanding goals in two minutes and not satisfied by one goal and three assists, Neymar wanted more. He showed great strength and skill to hold off and weave his way through four Toulouse defenders before slotting it past Lafont. 6-2. Final whistle.

PSG showed terrific character to not only hold on to but increase their lead after a harsh dismissal, with 3 world-class goals capping off a breathless final 20 minutes.

On his first time playing in front of the home crowd, the world-record man Neymar certainly gave the PSG fans plenty to look forward to. With 3 goals and 5 assists in two games the £200m is starting to pay for itself.
