Neymar has reportedly told Liverpool wantaway midfielder Philippe Coutinho that 'he won't regret Liverpool's decision not to sell to Barcelona'.

Coutinho's dream move to the Camp Nou is looking more and more unlikely but former Barcelona player and Brazil team-mate Neymar believes the attacking midfielder will not come to regret it.

Barcelona have tested Liverpool's resolve to keep their prized asset with three huge offers, the last coming in at a colossal £114m.

However Jurgen Klopp and Fenway Sports Group have held their ground and constantly insisted that the 25-year-old will be going nowhere this summer.

According Brazilian publication 'Estadao', world's most expensive player Neymar has advised Coutinho against a move to the Camp Nou.

The paper claims,  'Neymar said to Coutinho in a chat that he won't regret Liverpool's decision to keep him away from Barcelona.'

With three days left in this summer's transfer window, the Spanish giants are running out of time to finalise any more deals.

Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez, however, remains confident of new arrivals. He told the 'Daily Mail' on Monday:

'We are negotiating with a player with the possibility that he can arrive. We hope it ends well. We hope to be able to present a new player,' he said.

'One could arrive or two could arrive. We are negotiating. My intention is that another player arrives and if possible two.'
