PSG central defender Sergio Ramos is once again out for PSG. He will not play in the league game with Monaco. The medical report also gives an update on Neymar: he will be out for between another six and eight weeks.
The club's medical report points out that Ramos, who has only played one goal for his new club, "is continuing his individual and collective preparation in the coming days with the aim of joining up with the group next week."
"Let's hope his development is good and he can be with the team before the year is out," his coach Mauricio Pochettino said in a press conference before the game.
Ramos, 35, arrived last summer from PSG, but a series of injuries ended up delaying his debut which finally came on 28th November against St Etienne. After that game, the club said that the defender suffered from "muscle fatigue" which kept him out of action.
Neymar will not be available against Monaco either as he is continuing with his recovery. Presnel Kimpembe is also out with abdominal pain. As far as Neymar is concerned, the club said that he is recovering at a centre in Ooredo and that he will not be back for between six and eight weeks.
