Newcastle could do Bayern a favour with Sule
Newcastle United are still weighing up who will be the first signing of the Saudi era. One of the options is that Niklas Sule, who would go in January before his Bayern Munich contract ends.
Newcastle United could become an ally of Bayern Munich. The English side has been taken over and the Saudi money means that they are looking for top level signings.
'Bild' says that the Magpies are interested in Niklas Sule. The central defender's contract expires in June next year and he is free to leave then, but Newcastle want him earlier.
That could see Bayern do him a favour. Sule would go to the Premier League in January rather than leaving for free in the summer. If he left in summer, that would be bad for the Bavarians.
That said, if Newcastle and Bayern do not reach an agreement for the signing of Sule, the English side are determined to sign a pre-contract with the central defender so that he can join in summer 2022.
