LOSC Lille have confirmed the signing of Eugenio Pizzuto, 18-year-old Mexican midfielder from Pachuca.

Eugenio Pizzuto will be a Lille player from next season. The French club have announced his signing ahead of the future.

At just 18 years old, the Mexican player has spent the last few years, the ones of his training until he reached professional football, at Pachuca, who have bid farewell to one of their best promises.

When he was just 12, Wellington Phoenix set their eye on him, and just three years later, he returned to his country. Moreover, he was one of the revelations with Mexico in the 2019 under 17 World Cup.

"Able to evolve into a recuperator or organiser, the San Luis Potosi native also has an amazing maturity and real leadership despite his young age", Lille explained in their official statement about the player, who suffered a terrible injury in his Liga MX debut at the start of the year.

For now, the French club, who recently signed Yilmaz to replace Osimhen, haven't informed about the type of contract that Pizzuto has signed, nor of how much the deal cost.
