Radja Nainggolan was key for Inter as they beat Bologna on Saturday, scoring the opening goal in the match, but he later asked to be taken off with a thigh injury.

Inter is now Nainggolan's team. The former Roma player made his debut for the 'Nerazzuri' after spending weeks on the sidelines with niggling injuries, and he needed little time to demonstrate what he can bring.

He quickly opened his account, scoring the first goal, after chesting down a cross and volleying a silky finish into the bottom corner. It was a goal of real quality.

This comes despite the fact that Nainggolan is clearly still not 100%. The feeling is that with him on the pitch Inter are a different beast, which is why Spalletti is so keen to ensure he stays in good health.

According to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', Nainggolan himself asked to be taken off after feeling something in his right thigh, and he will now undergo the usual medical tests to diagnose exactly what is wrong.

However, with an international break to come, the midfielder should have time to recover and catch up with his team mates as they embark on a new endeavour, the Champions League.
