Manuel Neuer thinks he is capable of continuing playing. The Bayern goalkeeper's contract runs until 2023, but he could sign a new contract shortly. According to 'Sport1', the new one could run until 2025, so, if he stays there until the end of his contract, he will play there until he is nearly 40. That is assuming he does not get any more contracts.

He's 35, but Neuer feels like he did on his first day at the club. The goalkeeper is not thinking of retiring, at least for now. In fact, he wants to stay on for longer.

Neuer could sign his new contract at Bayern before December, 'Sport1' has revealed. The current deal runs until 2023.

The same channel also says that Neuer thinks he can keep on playing for at least another two years after that. Bayern are reportedly weighing up offering a new deal until 2025.

If he signs a new deal at Bayern until 2025, that would mean him staying at the club until he is 39. At the moment, the goalkeeper thinks that is perfectly doable.

Manuel Neuer is the undisputed number one at Bayern. He has played 17 times so far this season, all of them starts. If the Bavarians trust him, the goalkeeper will be able to keep on making many more saves for the club.
