Real Madrid received a timely boost on Sunday as goalkeeper Keylor Navas returned to training ahead of Tuesday night's game against Tottenham in the Champions League.

Real returned to training for a light session on Sunday morning after the win over Getafe on Saturday, which made them the first club in La Liga history to record thirteen straight wins away from home.

Those who had started against their city rivals were just put through a recovery session, with Kiko Casilla, Achraf, Nacho Fernández, Marcelo, Toni Kroos, Marco Asensio, Lucas Vázquez, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo all being seen going through a number of stretching exercises.

Captain Sergio Ramos did not take part after falling ill and vomiting pre-game, leading to the club's medical staff administering him an intravenous drip. The 31-year-old was given the day off but is expected to train alongside his team-mates as normal on Monday ahead of the clash with Spurs.

Another noteworthy development was the presence of Keylor Navas, who appears to have recovered from the groin injury that struck him down during the international break and forced him to miss Saturday's game.

The Costa Rican was one of the Real players who was worked hardest, taking part in shooting drills, one-on-one drills and small-sided games, with everything suggesting that he will be available for the game at the Bernabeu on Tuesday.

Zidane turned to Real's youth team to make up the numbers, with Belman, Jaume, Toni, Fidalgo and Mancebo all being invited to join the session, along with youth team goalkeeper Moha.

Long-term absentees Dani Carvajal, Mateo Kovacic and Gareth Bale all remain sidelined.
