Arsenal's teenage sensation Myles Lewis-Skelly is on the verge of a surprise England call-up, as new manager Thomas Tuchel considers the left-back for upcoming World Cup qualifiers despite his limited Premier League experience.

Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly is reportedly close to earning his first England cap, despite having made just eight Premier League starts in his fledgling career.

The 18-year-old has caught the eye of new England manager Thomas Tuchel, who is preparing for next month's World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia.

Lewis-Skelly's impressive performances at left-back for Arsenal this season have thrust him into contention for the national team, addressing England's ongoing issues in that position.

The Three Lions have struggled with injuries to established left-backs Luke Shaw and Ben Chilwell, forcing Tuchel to explore alternative options.

Lewis-Skelly's potential inclusion comes as England face a shortage of natural left-backs, with Newcastle's Lewis Hall, Manchester City's Rico Lewis, and Chelsea's Levi Colwill all having featured in the role recently.
