Thomas Muller made his case for inclusion in Germany's World Cup squad on Friday by scoring a stunner to equalise against Spain in Dusseldorf.

After Rodrigo gave the visitors an early lead, 'La Roja' looked the most likely to get the second goal, but a moment of magic from Muller ensured that would not be the case.

With 35 minutes gone, the Bayern Munich man received the ball 25 yards out and without thinking proceeded to get get it out of his feet and curl an effort past David de Gea in the visiting goal and into the top corner.

The Manchester United stopper was a mere spectator as the ball sailed past him and nestled in the net to level the scores.
