The German attacker completed a good team move after playing a one-two with Lewandowski inside the box. This time Lewandowski got the assist. Bayern were 1-0 up versus Barca after four minutes.

Thomas Muller was very confident ahead of the game with Barca. "We are breaking record after record," he said. And after four minutes, Bayern hit the front.

It had to be him, who made history by becoming the German player with most Champions League appearances, who opened the scoring.

Flick's men combined briliantly. Perisic went down the left flank. His cross, instead of going to the area, went to Muller.

The German, more used to assisting, in this case played a one-two with Robert Lewandowski inside the box. The Pole played it back first time and he hit a left footed shot which was not especially strong or right in the corner, but it surprised Ter Stegen in goal.
